For their first artist release, CTL! crew brings us a proper « rave / techno » EP from Rotor, who's one of the first members of this french collective.
« Officinale EP » aims to be lived as an inner journey, the story of a dissociation, a nostalgic act between violence and resignation.
« Officinale » starts this acidulated and sowed with confusion trip.
The frustrations detonate on the second track, while we can feel the doubts deeply coming on the dark and creaky rework of VFO89.
Then comes « Thieves », a mental and wonky synths ballad, telling of a questioning without any answers.
Finally, « V » leads us to a smooth landing, like an hymn to the future. A future where nothing matters.
